Stop Motion Experimentation

by samantha on April 24, 2012

I had my second and final stop motion animation class this past Saturday. This video is the result the days work with my lab partner. The cookies were something I grabbed on the way out the door after going through all the kids toys. Barbies and action figures felt a bit cliche for stop motion. I thought doing something with ever relevant phrase “I Love U” would be fun to play with. We ended up with the simple age old story of heartbreak. I think we got a great little piece and I’m really inspired to keep experimenting with the technique at home.

Looks like something college students would like (and I mean that in a positive way).

This is awesome! My hubs has been taking some animation classes to stay current on all the tech skills required in the field (which he’s in). I’m going to strongly encourage a stop-motion class in there, because, well, it doesn’t get any cooler than that. Good job Samantha– A+, yo!
