New Faves! Summer Madness Edition!

by samantha on July 1, 2012

Here is another installment of crap I’m into right now. No need for a big intro, let’s just get this show on the road….

1. Momofuku Milk Bar Cookie Mix To-Go. If you’ve had the joy of tasting just about anything from Momofuku Milk Bar you know how exciting this new product is. And for those who have never tasted anything from Momofuku Milk Bar you need to be excited about this new product, because the cookies from this joint are insanity. There’s nothing really to compare them to—they have a flavor all their own. I actually bought the blueberry flavor cookies and make the mistake of dumping all the bags of powdery goodness into one bowl. Oops, the directions on these cookies are a little more complex that your average Betty Crocker mixes so follow the directions, the extra work is totally worth it.

2.  HBO GO. Holy fuck. This app will change your life. As long as you order HBO from your cable provider it can be yours for the low low price of NOTHING!! The interface on this app is stunning and the content is beyond. You can get every complete series at your finger tips. Girls! OZ! Deadwood! Sex and the City!! And you can get tons and tons of new movies.

3. Rainbow Denim Vest. I just got this vest at one of my favorite shops LF. They carry this line called Millau from Italy I think. You can’t find anywhere and they make the greatest stuff and that’s who made this amazing vest. I adore it. This is currently one of my most favorite articles of clothing.

4. Coconut Oil. Wow! Don’t even get me started on this stuff. I slather my face in it. If you have dry skin it just soaks the stuff up and makes your skin feel silky smooth. And before I leave the house I put it on my arms and legs to get a nice sheen on um. But one of my favorite uses for coconut oil is removing kids temporary tattoos. Who knew! Those things can get stubborn and totally gross looking after a few days. Just rub some coconut oil on with a cotton ball and boom the temporary tattoo is gone.

5. Mental Floss. I bought this mag on impulse in line at Whole Foods. It ended up being really entertaining. The mag is full of super cool facts about all kinds of weird random stuff. I just bought myself a subscription. Check it out!

6. Steve’s Mexican Chili Chocolate. This just replaced my Ben & Jerry’s Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream. This stuff is so superb and rich and delicious it makes me crazy. It’s my new favorite, and I have about a half pint a day habit right now.

7. Hurraw. What new lip gloss has going for it is new shapes. Look at EOS. I like the oval shape of Hurraw and I guess it’s got good ingredients, but what really got me was the shape and the flavor. It’s just yummy.

8. My Bralettes. That’s what they call these at LF, the shop where I bought the vest. I have about 3 of these bralettes and they look so sexy under a low cut garment or some article of clothing that shows off the upper strappage of the bra. I need to go buy like 10 more because I don’t know where I’ll ever be able to find this under garment again. This is a new super favorite.

Coconut oil is brill for your hair too if you’ve got some curls going on. I melt it in to my bath too – so relaxing and hydrating!

certainly like your web site but you need to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome to inform the truth however I’ll definitely come back again.
